ABOUT ME
For over 15 years, I have worked with people of all ages, backgrounds, and needs in a variety of settings, including hospitals, prisons, colleges, non-profit agencies and, for the past 12 years, in private practice.
My practice incorporates a holistic and integrative approach to wellbeing combining the use of mindfulness meditation, guided visualization, and experiential styles along with psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies. I work solely from a place of empathy, non-judgment, intuition and support in order to help clients feel empowered by their work in therapy; obtain personal growth, awareness, and fulfillment; and ultimately lead a more balanced, peaceful, and rewarding life however that may look to each person.
My focus and specialty is working with individuals with anxiety and/or depression; teaching meditation and self-compassion with mindfulness practices; working through life transitions; helping women feel supported and empowered; and working with men and women to develop a sense of self, build healthy relationships, identify and achieve desired goals, and improve overall self-worth. Individuals and couples of all ages, ethnicities, cultural and spiritual backgrounds and sexual/gender identities are welcome.
